MCA(Master of Computer Application)

Objectives :-

• To give the learners knowledge of advanced computer subjects including software.
• To enable the learners get a better job in computer industry. The jobs may include System Analysts, System Designers, Software Engineers, Programmers and Technical Facilitators in any field related to IT industries and teaching posts in colleges and universities.
• To enable the learners o work as System Managers and Hardware Engineers in IT industries.

Eligibility :-

Bachelors Degree (TDC) with mathematics as a subject at graduations level from recognized university/ institution in any discipline with +2 level mathematics or its equivalent. Student have to attache self attested photo copies of all their mark sheet. All the students shall have to qualify the paper of(QMT) Basic Mathematics in First Year. However, marks obtained in this paper will not be added for determining the division in MCA or PGDCA.

Lateral Entry in Second Year:-

Student having the following qualification will be admitted directly in the MCA Second Year through Lateral Entry: Bachelors Degree (TDC) from any recognized university / institution and have passed PGDCA / DOEACC "A" level / PGDIT / BCA/ B.Sc.(IT) / B.Sc.(CS) / B.Tech(IT).

Lateral Entry in Third Year:-

Student having the following qualification will be admitted directly in the MCA Third Year: ADCA / M.Sc.(CS) / M.Sc.(IT) from any recognized university / institution.

Duration :-

• Minimum: 3 Years, Maximum: 6 Years
• For lateral entry in MCA-ll year.
  • Minimum: 2 Years, Maximum: 4 Years
• For lateral entry in MCA-lll year.
  • Minimum: 1 Years, Maximum: 2 Years
